prof. dr hab. inż. Tomasz Stuczyński

Graduate of the Poznań University of Life Sciences and postgraduate studies at the Poznan Medical University in the field of herbalism and phytotherapy. Participated in numerous national and international research projects dedicated to soil quality, environmental monitoring, construction of spatial information systems, development of new analytical methods, construction of predictive models and decision support tools in environmental management. 

Co-author of agricultural drought monitoring in Poland. He led the team designating less favoured areas (LFAs). At the USDA’s ARS Environmental Chemistry Laboratory in Beltsville, Maryland, he conducted research on a new method for remediating heavy metal contaminated soils, awarded the 1st Research Award by the US EPA Minister of the Environment. Founder and co-owner of the environmental testing laboratory ZIS Eko-Projekt, accredited for more than 600 test methods for elements and substances that constitute water, soil, air and food contaminants. He has authored and co-authored more than 120 international publications.
